I've been looking at these for a few months now. I ended up buying them today at a sale for $10.

So everything's good. I normally don't go for earbuds because my ears are freakishly small, and normal buds either don't fit or just aren't comfortable. These happen to fit pretty well, and I was able to get bast the strange in ear noises after a while.

The cable isn't bothering me much, but I may have to shorten the length for school so they're not easily noticed.

Sound quality is better than most of my headphones in the past, but I'm going to hold off on durability. The longest I've had a set was about 6 months, the shortest about two weeks. It would be amazing if these would last me about five months, but if they don't they're relatively cheap, so I'd be willing to buy a second set.

Yea they do sound better from the earphones that comes in the package. For the thump noise I recommend you put it behind your neck like a J styled wiring (the one with uneven left/right wiring). That sucks, that the wire broke so fast. Luckily mine is still working (4 month now). Personally I like the straight jack better because even though it is easier to get pulled out, the cable doesn't have to bend so much. But I don't mind either way.

I have these headphones and and the sound is great, a lot better than the phones that came with my iPod. I agree with most of the complaints. The cable is funky and you get a thump-thump noise from the cable is you walk around. The worst complaint I had to replace the jack and as the wires wore out and shorted after about 4 months of use. For me an 'L' jack works better than a straight line jack.

Yeah I just got these from CC and they sound decent enough, well worth the $10. But I still like my old $30 Sony Fontopias better.

calm down. I never said they aren't worth the $10 they are. I was just pointing out things I didn't like about them. They are great earphones for the price. They sound great, but the build isn't as top notch. After weeks of wearing it, the paint is scratching off already. Other than that, I love them. I use them everyday. No need to blow your brains out...
