Today I’ll be continuing my rambling on Blog Edition. If you haven’t read part 1, let’s catch you up. Last time I talked about how I needed to be more personal with my blog and create better content. So here’s more of my resolutions.
Promises
When I first started making the blog I tried to keep the “Bloggers code”. I was naive and to ideal. I tried to write on a time schedule, but I didn’t think about my offline life. I told my readers that I would write more, but sadly my offline life prevented it. Day by day went by and I didn’t follow through with my promise. Later I tried again, and failed again. Finally I realized that don’t make promises unless you are sure you can keep them.

2007 is coming to an end. It has been a great year, although deep in our hearts we all know that there are things to regret and things to improve on. Now all we need to do is get it together and plan for a better year. So here’s a few things I hope to improve on 53m1 this coming year.
Content
When I started this blog, I really didn’t know where I was headed. I didn’t know if I was going to use this to give my self an identity on the tubes, to showcase my art, or just because I’m following the band wagon. (more…)

I hope you had a great christmas and soon to have a great new year! May you travel safely without the booze to your friends/family house. Or if you aren’t going anywhere, and your friends/family are coming to you, may you keep your sanity. Have a good one!

This year for christmas I gave a few of my friends a personal work of art. Although it may not be classy, it is from the heart. Like they say, it’s the thought that counts right? I also believed that christmas is getting really commercial and whatever I can buy, they can too. So I decided to give them each an ambigram.

There’s not much to say this week, so I’m going to keep it short and sweet. It’s time like this, that this Wordpress theme comes in handy. (This, that this, funny isn’t it. No? maybe its just me writting this at 11:35PM). I know this is old news, but it’s new to me. I some how missed the note that said that SBC DSL subscriber get a free flickr PRO account (9 actually, if you use sub accounts). So in case you haven’t taken advantage of it like me.
At first I was worried that switching will mean that I would have to make a new flickr account, which means losing all my pictures. Thankfully, flickr has a transfer account page (another feature I never knew). With a few simple clicks, I was done transferring. Perfect for the season. Unlimited uploading, here I come. (Yes I really took advantage of it by uploading 6 “6mb” picture. What’s it? It’s set as private for now)
