A while ago I found this great wallet called slimmy.I thought, what a great idea! Who wouldn’t like a slim wallet. After making a slim wallet with paper last time, I set out to make my own slimmy wallet being the cheap asian I am. This time using the DIY fangled Duct tape. So after a bunch of trial and error, here is what I came up with.
Sorry, but I don’t have a tutorial on it at the moment. I wished I remembered to take pictures along the way. But as I said before this was my first so I made some mistakes along the way. I saw many improvement that I can make. So when I go and and make a 2.0, I’ll be sure to take some pictures.
But I’m sure you can make your own anyway. It’s pretty self explanatory. But in case you’re wondering, It’s made of duct tape over stock paper. Hint: Don’t use that thick of a stock paper because It’ll make the wallet fatter, and we don’t want that do we? After applying duct tape on the stock paper, it is pretty durable, so there is really no need to add another bulkiness to the wallet.
Let’s hope that the duct tape doesn’t get to sticky, and it will stay for a while. Maybe I should make this a Christmas present XD. Yes I doubt anyone would want a duct tape wallet.

I made one of those a while ago - but the thing was so dang thick…
That one was also a lot of trial and error. I didn’t feel like making a second, and I didn’t like how thick the first was, so I gave it to my sister who still uses it.
lol
But after seeing the success you had, I think I may give it another go.

yeah, this is actually my second one too. My first one i use layers of cardboard because I thought the tape wouldn’t be strong enough. I was wrong, one sheet of stock paper is more than enough.
Good luck with yours! A tip that I would recommend after using my wallet for a couple of days would be to make sure the tape wrap around the edges of the paper. After a while the tape will start getting sticky, dirty, and just plain ugly if you don’t.
