I agree. Personally, I'm still skimming the water and haven't went into books and research yet on the subject of neurophilosophy. In fact I wasn't even aware of such subjects exploring these things exist :X! I'm sorry but I'm not familiar with Antonio Damasio's work. Please tell me how it is when you're finished. Seriously, they're almost certainly entwined.  Assuming for the moment that there is no mind/body duality, then there is only the body.  Subsequently, any investigation into the &lt;em&gt;why&lt;/em&gt; necessarily crosses into an investigation of the &lt;em&gt;how&lt;/em&gt;.

Trying to figure this out myself.  I mentioned on Thame's site just now that I'll be reading something from Antonio Damasio, among the current neurophilosophy rock stars, since he is regarded as an excellent source for popular investigation.
