They really need to work on signals here in the US. I'm not sure how well it works in the Europe, but it might be better because its a German brand if I do recall correctly. But as I stated in my post there is a way to add other maps that's not proprietary to this Becker. Try searching on youtube. There are many videos on the hack. Refer to the Hack portion of the post. If you have that, it is straightforward. You just have to copy and paste the map file from the cd into a new SD card. It doesn't require anything special. I have tried for a few days to find usa+canada maps to no avail. the main site for usa has none and all phone numbers links are in-operable. I'm glad that it can be tweaked because that apears to be the only way I will get maps..Now its back on me to tweak my non skills hahahha Damn this website is hot!
